Treasure In a Field
Capital Campaign
A note from Pastor Matt
There are moments in the life of a church when we sense God inviting us into something bigger than ourselvesâsomething that requires faith, sacrifice, and complete trust in Him. This is one of those moments.
As we step into this “Treasure in a Field” capital campaign, we are not simply raising funds for a building, walls, and a roof. We are making room for ministry, for Kingdom activity! We are preparing space for all ages to pursue, experience, and have an authentic relationship with Jesus, others and our community for many years to come, a continued harvest in a field on Elm Road, only spiritual in nature now.
This journey will require each of us to pray, to listen, and to respond in obedience to how God is leading us. Our goal is not equal giving, but equal sacrifice. Together, as one body of believers, we will trust the Lord to provide as we step forward in faith.
I am so grateful to pastor a church that loves Jesus, loves people, and is willing to say “YES” when God calls. I believe the best days of our church are ahead, and I am excited to see what God will do through our collective faithfulness to this call.
Thank you for praying, for giving, and for believing in the vision God has placed before us.
With gratitude & expectation,
Pastor Matt

Ministry benefits of the project
We are currently gathering in an 8,000 sq. ft. space that has faithfully served usâbut itâs clear weâve outgrown it. Limited space can sometimes hold back the ministry opportunities and moments we sense God inviting us into.
- As our church family has grown, space has become limited. Weâve added a third service to make room, yet it can still feel crowded. Our desire is to return to two servicesâcreating more space for relationships to grow and more freedom for the Holy Spirit to move.
- Our atrium, parking lot, and Kidâs areas regularly overflow. While this reflects a thriving church, it can make it difficult to warmly welcome guests and care for families well. Weeknight ministries feel this strain too, sometimes meeting wherever space is availableâeven in our foster closet.
- A larger facility would allow the ministries God is already using to flourish. Connecting the foster closet to the building would help us better serve foster families and build stronger relationships. It would also allow ministries like Celebrate Recovery to offer childcare, removing barriers so more people can find hope, healing, and community.
Ultimately, this building project isnât just about more spaceâitâs about creating room for people to belong, to grow, and to encounter Jesus. It also allows us to steward Godâs provision wisely by investing in a permanent home rather than continuing to rent.

- Does my heart respond with joy to my giving sacrificially at this time?
Chart of gifts - 3 Year Campaign
The Chart of Gifts is a sample picture of how our campaign goal can be reached together through many different levels of generosity. It reflects the biblical principle of equal sacrifice, not equal giving, inviting each person to respond as God leads and as they are able.
This chart breaks our overall goal into various gift amounts and shows how many commitments at each level will help accomplish the vision. It is not meant to pressure or compare, but to help each of us prayerfully consider where we might participate in what God is doing.
As you review the chart, we hope you see two things clearly: every gift matters, and together, this goal is attainable. When we each step forward in faithful obedience, our combined generosity becomes the means by which God brings this vision to life.
