About Us

Simply, we are enthusiastic about all ages pursuing, experiencing & having authentic relationship with Jesus, others, and our community.

Our Vision

In the relationally bankrupt social media society in which we live today, our vision is that we go back to the way Jesus started and at our core is a foundation & thread of relationship. We desire to see a WAVE of Kingdom activity like Jesus and the disciples did as we do.

Our Mission

Simply, we are enthusiastic about all ages pursuing, experiencing & having an authentic relationship with Jesus, others, and our community.

Hebrews 10:24-25, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Our Values

Relationship With Jesus

With great tenacity, we seek to help people find & maintain a genuine relationship with Jesus as the Savior of their lives. Jesus being and staying in the driver seat of our lives and guiding/directing all we do. We do this through linking & deliberately building into our church family as well as various connection avenues in our weekend services, small groups, and periodic spiritually charged events.

Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Relationship With Our Community

The role of the local church is to make Jesus Christ famous and so reaching out and doing our best to not just be a great church, but a church for the community is crucial to accomplishing that goal. Jesus himself had that mindset. It says in Mark 10:45…“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve…” We feel we should follow that model and press into serving the community that comes to the church as well as through local & global outreach.

Relationship With Others

Every human is designed by God to need others. We are born with an innate need to know and be known…to know others as well as be known by others. We feel the church is one of God’s mechanisms to accomplish that goal and should strive to make it easy to do so, especially in the relationally bankrupt social media society in which we live today. Someone once said, “People don’t look for friendly churches, they look for friends at church.” We think that’s true and it’s why we want every person connected in a small group as well as participating in things like serving in the church, Cornerstone Kids, Cornerstone Students, and church related events/programming.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.”

Cornerstone's Discipleship Pathway

At Cornerstone Church we encourage a discipleship pathway that we call ACT because disciples act! Growing closer to Jesus doesn’t happen by chance.
